Summer weddings are extremely popular in Boston (and everywhere else, for that matter!), so most couples don’t need any convincing reasons. But one thing that I would LOVE to see more of is couples choosing to plan a winter wedding! Not too sold on the idea? Don’t worry, I got ya covered. Here are my top five reasons to have a winter wedding in Boston!
When it came time to plan their wedding, COVID got in the way a bit. But instead of postponing or planning a big wedding, they had an outdoor backyard ceremony at an Airbnb in Cape Cod where health and safety was a top priority! Their family made posters with their friends and family’s faces on them so everyone was there in spirit. After the ceremony, they had a first dance on the deck, cut an adorable mini cake, and took sunset portraits down at the pond. It was absolutely perfect!
In my opinion, Hartford City Hall is one of the most beautiful city halls in America! There are grand marble staircases, columns, and very royal architecture. Brianna and Brandon had a first look at the Hartford Capital before making their way to City Hall for their short and sweet ceremony. Their immediate family was present (and dressed up very winter chic) to throw flower petals at the couple as they made their way down the stairs of City Hall as an officially married couple!
