Sameera & Eric met at UCLA back in 2012. Eric had just joined the student group that Sameera was interning with. They were in the same classes, and quickly became friends. They stayed in touch after Eric graduated, but Eric made the big move by coming down to LA to attend Sameera’s graduation. Everyone but them knew they would end up together!
5 years later, they took a trip to the Catskills with their spoiled fur baby Mila. They hiked to a waterfall, went to a brewery, and went out for a romantic dinner. Back at the Airbnb, they chatted as at the sun went down, and Eric popped the question! Beautiful, intimate, and perfect.
Having been just friends for the first 2 years, friendship truly is the foundation of Eric & Sameera’s relationship. Through tough times (long distance, immigration hurdles) and great times (bringing Mila home, moving into their first home), they go through it together.
For their engagement session, we started at their new home in West Hartford, Connecticut (my hometown!). They played with Mila, had a pillow fight, and snuggled all over their house. Then, we visited the oldest rose garden in the country just in time for sunset – Elizabeth Park! There are romantic rose covered arches, nature paths, lush flowery goodness – it’s incredible! They’re tying the knot at Hartford City Hall in October and are so excited to become husband and wife!
How lovely !! God bless you with everything under the sun.
Congrats you two. This does truly look magical in ways that we read in the story books as kids. Sending you some very very big love from us and the friends and families of you guys. God bless
